I will send it by sea—as many of
my friends have objected to its size—
    I hope you will pardon the liberty
I am obliged to take, in deferring the
repayment of the money I made use
of at poor Keats’ death—I have never
been able to do it yet, on account of my
slender income, but now I will begin
to hope, as I have received a commission
for an historical picture and have every
prospect of succeeding—thank God
that he gives me hope & courage & health
to proceed—I am not allowed time
to write more—so I will wait the
pleasure to hear from you,—pray tell
