Notes
"Scarabs made during the Hyksos period in Palestine are marked by strong outlines filled with hatching or crosshatching. This style appears also in a few of the cylinders found in Palestinian excavations. Since 1002 is engraved in this manner, it is classified as Palestinian of the Hyksos period."--Porada, CANES, p. 137
