Early impression with much drypoint tone.
Margins of 11 mm at the top, 13-13.5 mm at the bottom, and 12 mm at the two sides.
With nothing behind the figures on the dyke on the left-hand side.
Inscriptions/Markings
Signed and dated lower left, "Rembrandt f 1652" ( 'd' in reverse, last digit difficult to read).
Watermark: Three balls, probably bottom of foolscap, fragment.
