Notes
"Young D'Urfey" is a pseudonym variously attributed to the London lawyer and songwriter Theodosius Forrest, or to his brother and (according to some sources) literary collaborator, Frederick Forrest.

Illustrated satirical broadside based on Charles Macklin's popular farce Love-A-La-Mode in which a jockey, a Scotsman, a Jewish man, and an Irishman compete for the affections of a "buxom widow of the Strand."; with the lyrics printed letterpress in three columns below the caption title.
Broadside consists of two connected sheets with letterpress on the lower sheet, which measures 219 x 262 mm, and an etched "headpiece" illustration above it, measuring 210 x 262 mm.
Etching lettered on the plate with separate imprint: "Publish'd by W. Tringham according to Act of Parlt. Octor. 2. 1764"; signed: "ONeale delint" and "Tringham inv et sculpt."; image measures 183 x 242 mm.
