Summary
Print shows villagers rejoicings outside an inn, which in place of a wheatsheaf has for a sign a bust portrait of George IV, garlanded with roses. A young couple dance, a young man plays pipe and tabor. An older man (right) seated on a low stool, smokes, his rake, jug, and glass beside him. The men drinking and smoking at the table by the inn door all wear white favours in their hats. Behind are hay-wain, barn, sea, ships, and white cliffs.
