Cromek's edition of Robert Blair's "The grave" in 1808, in which it was titled "The soul exploring the recesses of the grave".

Summary

Print shows a a rock archway through it can be seen a corpse stretched out on the ground, enshrouded in flames; in the foreground a young man walks through the arch, carrying a candle; above, a young man stands on top of the arch, almost nude, looking below; his legs straddle a crescent moon; a mountainous landscape, with a church spire and other buildings, is in the background.
