Lawless for Once a week, 1863, v. 9, p. 393, with the solid black portions of the impression from the unfinished block excised; the engraving was later published as an illustration to accompany the poem "The dead bride" in Walter Thornbury's Historical and legendary ballads & songs, London : Chatto and Windus, 1876, p. 41.
