Summary

Print shows a backroom in the White Lion public house in Westminster where the Bishop of Clogher, Percy Jocelyn, and a private in uniform have been apprehended "in flagrante delicto" by a constable, who has seized the two men by the neck. Bishop Jocelyn is saying: "Do let me go I'll give you £500," while the constable replies: "Oh no I'll make a full exposure so come to the black hole and you shall cast lots again, Old File." The soldier, his trouser undone, cries: "Oh! I am ruin'd and undone." A group of spectators who have gathered in the doorway of the room at right are shouting: "Hang the dogs I say let them not disgrace our gallant soldiers shoot the beasts"; "They must not live to disgrace the Church and the Army"; "Send them to Hell or Turkey"; "Send them to China"; "The Pillory The Pillory"; "Hang them in Chains."
