Summary

Print shows Hannah Humphrey, her shop attendant Betty, and two men, engaged in a game of whist. Betty is holding out the ace of spades with which she is about to take the seventh consecutive trick. The two men are said to be a German named Tholdal and Betty's partner, Mortimer, a picture-dealer and restorer.
