Summary
Print shows a country parson on a rearing horse, while a parish clerk, with two large volumes under his arm, looks over his right shoulder and stoops or runs to escape being trampled. A small dog, rushing towards the horse's hind-legs and barking furiously, appears to have caused the 'symptoms of rearing'.
