Print of a "bonnet-rouge", printed in red ink and issued with a set of eight satirical portraits by James Sayers and published by Hannah Humphrey on May 12, 1794, in which the members of the Opposition are travestied as French republicans. The sheet is cut along the lower edge of the cap in order to place it on the head of each of the portrayed politicians. Cf. George, M.D. Catalogue of prints and drawings in the British Museum.
