One of a series of lithographs published in 4 parts from 1829-1830 and entitled: A series of subjects from the works of the late R.P. Bonington / drawn on stone by J.D. Harding. Printed at C. Hullmandel's Lithographic Establishment, 49 Gt. Marlborough St. This plate was issued in 1830.
Same subject as Bonington's painting, On the Cote d'Opale, Picardy, executed ca. 1826 or 1827.
Print is mounted on folio 85 of a bound volume of prints by and after R.P. Bonington (see Bonington album PML 142069).
Caption title masked in printing; library's copy has title inscribed in pencil on page below mounted print.
