Typewritten description pasted on first flyleaf, "A volume of congratulatory verses mostly in Urdu with decorations in the Indian style. There is no trace of any author's name in the verses, which are probably written with the thumb-nail. Done about 1840 AD." BS has dated this as possibly later to early 20th century.
