Binding
Engraved silver binding over wood boards, with 2 silver clasps, edges gilt and gauffered; each cover engraved with an oval scene: The Adoration of the Magi on the front, Elisha and Elijah on the back. The corners filled with large tulips and other flowers; the spine likewise is covered with silver moulded to correspond to four raised bands, and engraved with a bird in each panel; in purple morocco clasped box case lined with blue satin, by Riviere & Son.
