19th-century Russian light brown morocco over wood; elaborately gilt-stamped; in center panel, framed in an oval, is a view of Jerusalem with Golgatha and the Cross; cartouches above and below with the words in uncials: KNIGA GDNYA; within the oval is the inscription: Czar of Glory / Jesus son of Christ / the place of Execution; elaborately gauffered and gilt edges; clasps and metal edge pieces.
