Ms. psalter for the use of the diocese of Würzburg (calendar, litany); written and illuminated in Franconia, Germany, possibly in the monastery of Komburg, ca. 1250.
The Psalter is related stylistically to two other Psalters (Stuttgart, Landesbibliothek, Bibl.fol.46 and Munich, Staatsbibliothek, Lat. 7915), which have been linked to the Benedictine monastery of Komburg (Comburg) near Würzburg.
Decoration: 11 full-page miniatures, 12 large calendar miniatures with signs of the zodiac, 4 historiated initials, 7 large decorated initials.
