16th-century Neapolitan gilt-tooled red morocco over thin wooden boards (11 x 7.5 cm), sewn on 2 supports. Plain vellum pastedowns and endleaves, renewed; plain endbands; gilt edges. 1 clasp, missing.

Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Contemporary Neapolitan illuminated floral borders and initials, including Tornamira armorial (leaf [a]1r) with other armorials added later; woodcuts painted. Annotations: No marginal notations in text.

Tornamira of Mallorca, armorial, 15th century (leaf [a]1r); Di Capua family, princes of Conca, armorial, 16th century (leaves [1]/10v and m1v); Naples, Theatins, SS.
