19th-century English laced vellum (28 x 20 cm.), sewn on 3 supports (for Morris--same as vellum Kelmscott Press bindings). Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves; yellow edges. 3 green ribbon ties, wanting.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubricated, red lombards, paragraph marks, and capital strokes. Annotations: Contemporary manuscript title copied from incipit (leaf [1]/1r) and a few marginal notations on first few pages only. Contemporary manuscript quire signatures, mainly trimmed: alpha-numeric signature at gutter margin and in a different hand alphabetic demarcation in the bottom center of first rectos.
