
The documentary Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, A Journey, A Song (2022) directed by Daniel Geller and Dayna Goldfine, explores the life of singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen as seen through the prism of his internationally renowned hymn, “Hallelujah.” The song’s biblical imagery and references, woven together with Cohen’s personal experiences and questions about faith, takes on the qualities of a modern-day psalm.
