Delicate lines on the light parts of the houses just back of the middle of the three trees are plainly visible. The grain visible on several areas of the plate, particularly on the left, has been ascribed to the use of a sulphur tint, but might equally well be the result of burnishing and scraping. (White and Boon).
No margins; trimmed within the platemark.
One of two impressions in the Library (see RvR 300).
Only one state.
