The letters were originally bound in a red leather volume with the bookplate of Alfred Cortot. They were disbound in October 2006.
The volume originally included a letter from Hans von Bülow to Schuberth dated Berlin, 3 October 1860. It was removed from the volume when it was disbound and now has the call no. MFC B939.S384.
