Originally bound with the Concertone K. 186 E / 190 and two other Serenades, K. 189b / 203 and 213a / 204 in the so-called second Cranz volume (see Köchel6, p. 176 and 206). The cover of this volume, in the hand of Leopold Mozart, reads, in part: "3 Serenate cio è gran Synfonie, con Violinj, oboe, viole, Cornj, Flautj, Clarinj, e Contrabassj con Soli di Violino."
