Monastery of Saint Michael (Dayr al-Malāk Mīkhāʼīl); found in 1910 near the village of Hamuli, Fayyūm Province, Egypt, at the site of the Monastery of Saint Michael; purchased in Paris in 1911 for J. Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913) from Arthur Sambon, a dealer acting in behalf of a consortium of owners including a certain J. Kalebdian; J.P. Morgan (1867-1943).

First envelope: 11 fragments, labeled 37, 58, 61, 66 (2 frgs.), 71, 77, 108 (2 frgs.), and 114, containing at the most a few letters, except for 66 (5 fragmentary lines on recto and verso)-- second envelope: 9 fragments, labeled 115, 116 (3 frgs.), 117, 118 (2 frgs.), 119, the largest (117) containing c. 15 letters on each side. -- Third envelope: 7 fragments, all labeled 122 -- fourth envelope: 16 unlabeled fragments of which 11 are tiny -- fifth envelope: 7 unlabeled fragments.
