Text: this Gothic Revival manuscript celebrates Hans Memling and specifically the famous châsse he made for the relics of St. Ursula, including a description of the reliquary and an account of the saint's legend.
Decoration: 1 full-page coat of arms (De Man de Lennick), 1 title page, 1 pictorial title page, 10 full-page miniatures, 3 smaller miniatures. 11 historiated initials, 21 borders with historiated medallions, each text page decorated with illuminated borders and initials containing pictures of animals, insects, and flowers.
Scribes and artists: Ferdinand Charles François de Pape (1810-1885) and François Louis Josse de Pape (1814-1863).
