Chester Beatty (his W ms. 47 [alternatively W ms. 27A; 136]) through Jacques Rosenthal of Munich; Beatty sale (London, Sotheby's, 9 May 1933, lot 47, £1,150); William Randolph Hearst; purchased from the Brummer Gallery in 1940.
