Curatorial Comments
The image shows Christ walking to the right with the cross on his left shoulder, which he holds with both hands. A bare-headed man is dragging Christ by a rope around his waist, while another man following them holds Christ by the waist with his right hand and is about to strike him with his left fist.

Perhaps from same set as Pilate Washing his Hands (Schr. 277; Albertina, DG1930/42), Crowning with Thorns (Schr. 313; Albertina, DG1930/43).
Inscriptions/Markings
Sewing holes in the four corners. Two small cracks/tears in parchment in lower-half.
Hand colored: Christ's robe is painted pale blue; his head, arms and legs are dripping with blood, and his halo is highlighted in gold, with the crown of thorns in green. The cross is painted in pale pink. The tormentor pulling Christ with a rope wears a pale yellow tunic and has vermilion shoes, while the one behind him is clad in dark green. The faces of the three figures are dabbed with pink and their hair is colored in yellow ochre. The ground is painted dark green, and the whole scene is framed in vermillion.
