Modern blind-tooled full brown goatskin in a pastiche of an early style over wooden boards (30 x 21 cm), sewn on 4 supports. Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves; plain endbands.

Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Venetian illuminated and historiated initial (leaf [2]/1r), with alternating red and blue initials, with filigree penwork decoration, and paragraph marks. Annotations: Contemporary manuscript catchwords. Section titles in tabula and text and question numbers written in red. One early marginal notation in text (leaf [2]/1r).
