19th-century gilt-tooled blue straight-grained morocco over paper boards (37 x 26.5 cm), sewn on 5 supports by Bozérian le Jeune. Gilt-tooled orange morocco doublures, with plain paper and vellum endleaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized. Annotations: Contemporary title inscription: "SOYIDAS" (in Greek) and Greek and Latin inscriptions, including citation from Stefano Negri's Dialogus, bleached/faded but more legible under UV (leaf α1r) No marginal notations in text.
