19th-century English full black morocco over paper boards (30.5 x 22 cm), sewn on 5 supports by Riviere & Son. Marbled paper pastedowns and endleaves, with plain paper endleaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.

Hand decoration: Ink initial E, with Suttery's initials (leaf a1r), no other rubrication required. Annotations: Extensive contemporary marginal and interlinear notations and cross-references, ennumeration of cases, and foliation. Includes lot description from Sotheby's, 1 July 1898, lot 1374, another copy of this edition, sold for £74.
