Both volumes: 19th-century French gilt-stamped green straight-grained morocco over paper boards (34 x 24 cm), sewn on 5 supports. Marbled paper pastedowns and fly leaves with plain paper fly leaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubricated, red and blue (washed/faded) lombards, several initials replaced with modern illumination; some initials unrealized. Annotations: Contemporary manuscript contents and provenance inscription (leaf [18]/1v) and some marginal notations (in Calpurnius and Hesiod only) in a humanist hand. "Munich"(?) (leaf [18]/1v).
