Binding
Contemporary blind-stamped "half" pigskin over beech boards (32.5 x 22 cm.), sewn on 3 supports by the "IHS rund I" bindery in Eichstätt (EBDB w000005, Kyriss 151, also known as "Abtwappen/Bischöfliches Wappen" bindery), active 1485-1521; perhaps bound for Haiswasser. Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves. 2 clasps, wanting. Manuscript waste used as quire guards. Old repair to rear board patched with contemporary blind-stamped pigskin.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized. Annotations: Some contemporary marginal notations, mainly in first part of book. Contemporary manuscript alpha-numeric quire signatures, foliation, manuscript title (leaf [1]/1r) and note "20 stucke" (referring to number of quires?) (leaf [1]/1r).
