Binding
18th-century French gilt-tooled green morocco over paper boards (20 x 14 cm), sewn on 5 supports, with the ticket of Derome le Jeune (dated 1786). Pink silk pastedowns and endleaves, with plain paper endleaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Contemporary rubrication, red initials, paragraph marks, capital strokes, and underlining, with ruling lines added after rubrication (perhaps modern?). Annotations: No marginal notations in text.
