Contemporary German tan calfskin over wooden boards (31 x 22 cm) with fillet frame and cross-panel on three bands; repaired by Duprez Lahey. 2 clasps, wanting. Plain paper pastedowns; leather endbands. Modern leather spine label.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubricated, red lombards, paragraph marks, and capital strokes. Annotations: Contemporary manuscript signatures, mostly trimmed. Some contemporary marginal annotations. Former Trier library shelfmarks and inscriptions (fly leaf recto). Red leather tabs.
Provenance
