Binding
19th-century quarter paper over paper boards covered in paste paper (30 x 21.5 cm), edges worn. Illegible inscription (15th/16th-century?) on bottom edge. Modern title label: "Dialogues St. Grégoire manuscrit 1473;" pencil inscription on first flyleaf in same hand, "Dialogues de St. Grégoire. La date se trouve a la fin du manuscrit: 1473."
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubricated, red and blue lombards (some with minor penwork flourishing), headlines, red and blue paragraph marks, chapter rubrics, capital strokes, and foliation by Vitus Hägelin. Hägelin used z-like puncti at rubrics; his paraphs have leftward-facing bowls with a secondary vertical strokes and horizontal strokes at top and bottom, with the bottom extending far to the right.
17th-century marginal notations in Latin, some blotted out, and pagination; notes on leaves [1]/9r and [5]/3v dated 1682 and 1684. 15th-century(?) note on leaf [2]/2r, blotted out.
