Contemporary French (southern, Lyon?) blind-tooled goat (or calf) over paste paper boards (32.5 x 22 cm.), sewn on 4 supports; rebacked. Modern plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves. 4 ties, missing. Contemporary manuscript title label on rear board: "Paul[us] Orosius. Dorus Siculus."

Former Sammelband with manuscript title on bottom edge partly visible, "III°" on leaf a1r suggests was third item with an edition of Orosius (Goff O-100?); Laurence Witten, cat. 13, no. 16; Herbert Robinson (1916-2010); Pierpont Morgan Library, gift of Herbert Robinson in memory of Alice Robinson, 1986.
