18th/19th-century blind- and gilt-tooled calf in a pastiche of an early style over heavy paper boards (33 x 22.5 cm.), sewn on 5 supports; repaired by Duprez Lahey, April 1945. Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
