Contemporary German blind-stamped calf over chamfered wooden boards (29 x 21 cm), sewn on 5 supports, probably bound in the lower Rhine area (Wenau?); rebacked. 13th-century(?) German manuscript pastedowns, perhaps from a lectionary, with texts including II Kings (II Samuel) 11:7-20 (front pastedown) and I Kings (I Samuel) 28:1219 and 31:1-6 (rear pastedown); plain endbands; yellow edges.
