Modern blind-tooled full brown goatskin, in a pasticheof an earlier style, over wooden boards (30 x 21 cm) by Riviere & Son. Vellum pastedowns and fly leaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubricated, red lombards, capital strokes, and paragraph marks on leaves [1]/1r and [7]/1r only; remainder unrealized. Title on leaf [1]/1r, "Augustinus In Confessionibus," and date 1470. Books numbered in upper right corner. Annotations: Marginal annotations and text corrections throughout.
