Summary

Drawing shows the interior of a bedroom where Lord Edward Fitzgerald, a knife in his hand and his shirt open at the neck, is accosted by Captain Swan and Captain Ryan, who lie on the floor, holding onto each of his legs to prevent his escape, while Major Henry Sirr enters at right, firing his pistol at the rebel; with a bed to the left and a picture on the wall behind.
