Crowquill's drawing of the Finnish soldiers imprisoned at Lewes in Sussex during the Crimean War served as the basis for a lithograph executed by Maclure, Macdonald & Macgregor, published in 1855 by W.H. Mason, Repository of Arts, Brighton.
