Illustration for "The Moss-Woman", depicting the verse "They call to her loud and urgently: / But clinging about her the Moss-woman stands ... 'In pity, in pity, oh save my child!'", with the words "Tis the hour", from the opening verse "TIS the looked for hour", comprised of decorated inital "T", and stylized hand lettering. The word "hour" is crossed out in pencil, over which is written in pencil "Tis the looked for hour of noontide rest".
