Description
According to the entry in the 1988 Baskett & Day catalogue from which this drawing was purchased, David Ekserdjian had rejected a former attribution to Parmigianino and instead proposed one to a member of the Campi family. The drawing was subsequently sold with an attribution to Antonio Campi (1523-1587), although it seems closer to the work of Bernardino, who was not related to Giulio and Antonio Campi, though he did train with the former.
