The complete set of engravings contains 2 interior views of Culzean and Kinfauns which are not included in the album; the drawing of Crathes was not engraved.

All but 19 of the drawings signed and dated between 1818 and 1835; inscribed with the names of the Seat and its proprietor on each album page in 2 different hands, one in pen and black ink and the other in graphite.
