Description

The location of this topographical view remains unidentified. There seems to be a small harbor in the distance at upper left behind what appear to be canons lined up behind a fort on a promontory. Coastal scenes are unusual in Cibo’s oeuvre, as are drawings with so extensive a use of watercolor.
