Farm Buildings and Three Tall Trees
7 13/16 x 11 13/16 inches (199 x 300 mm)
Pen and brown ink, on paper; faint traces of a framing line in brown ink.
III, 186a
Purchased by Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913) in 1909.
Notes
The drawing is very likely a study-whether or not from nature-which the draughtsman then incorporated in the larger composition (222 x 370 mm) on Japanese paper in the British Museum, London.
