Pen and black ink and wash, over black chalk, with a few passages in pen and brown ink, and three sketches of ornament and a dolphin in black chalk, on paper; squared for enlargement in black chalk.

Inscriptions/Markings
Inscribed in pen and brown ink, at lower left, "Feu du mariage du Dauphin tiré le 12 février 1747 / L'artifice tirer par les deux artificiers Italien, et francais / la feste des chars le 9. Jour du mariage"; inscribed in black chalk at left center "obscure", at right center "clair"; in the lower center is an indication of the scale in pieds and toises.
