A psalter commissioned by Anne de Montmorency and Madeleine de Savoie, with their arms in the title page border as well as some of the initials.
Binding
Brown goatskin, the covers with a strapwork panel stamp, edges gilt and gauffered, with two clasps, possibly produced in the workshop of Gommar Estienne.

Provenance
On the front flyleaf is a satirical epitaph of Montmorency in a contemporary hand with a note stating that it and the psalter were the gift of M.C.R.D.N. in 1567. The last leaves contain a manuscript index and a manuscript hymn to Saint Amable of Riom. Bo
