16th-century Italian (Venice?) gold tooled brown morocco, over paper boards (22.5 x 16 cm), sewn on 3 supports. Gilt and gauffered edges.

3 leaves at end with lines from Petrarch in manuscript, perhaps 18th century, Italian.
